Yesterday we visited a town that totes itself as the “Venice of the North”.  Totally pedestrianized, and most “streets” were actually canals to boat around on!  Found yummy honey scented soap, four different cats, dogs, and cows.  Took a boat ride through the town and into the fields around it, chased ducks, wandered into various tourist traps, it was great.

Also got caught out in the afternoon rainstorm, got completely soaked, and I parked the boat like a pro.  Yep.
