Sorry about the few days of radio silence there.  Did the Anne Frank house which was emotionally draining to say the least, then loooong travel day, then day in the apartment melting, then a day at the deutsches museum (interesting but all technology stuff which is so not my thing, there wasn’t a dead thing in sight can you believe…..)

Today did two old churches, the Fraunkirche and the church of St Peter (pictured).  Climbed the tower at the second church to get a view of Munich and the Alps in the distance, then lunch at a delicious Italian place, wandered an old cemetery, then found the place on the river where the surfers hang out.  Bet you didn’t know Munich is famous for its surfing.
