Mom says “go ahead and switch to the toddler bed now, when he hasn’t climbed out yet. That way if he won’t stay in bed you can put the crib wall back up and he’ll (hopefully) still be in the “can’t get out of the crib” mindset. And it’ll be good to get him used to the idea that if you’re taking a nap you stay in bed even if you *can* get up”

We had a 2.5 hr ordeal tonight, but we’ll see how things continue 😩

😦 mom again: “that’s pretty much a given no matter when you switch him over, he should get used to it pretty soon”
