it’s the constant reminder that Allura doesn’t have to be less feminine to be a badass.

She likes shiny things, she likes pastel pink, she even becomes the pink palladin hell yeah, she’s always playing around with the mice like a disney princess, she likes messing with her hair and make overs, she’s never seen without her jewellery on (which yeah it might also be for status show, but you get the idea), she likes shopping, she’s elegant and cute and pretty even when she’s clad for battle.
AND at the same time she’s this powerful, smart scheming, clever, extremely strong (did you see how she pinned Ulaz to the wall that was LIT), respectful, focused, awe inspiring leader.

Allura doesn’t have to be manly to be a badass, she doesn’t have to be less “girly” or to “man up” to take her father’s place, and I freaking love that.
