even if something you ship or something you enjoy isn’t canon, it doesn’t mean you need to stop enjoying it, and it especially doesn’t mean you need to stop producing content for it. The ‘goal’ of shipping isn’t to end up canon– it’s to enjoy content surrounding that ship. so just because a ship isn’t going to be canon doesn’t mean it’s “dead”, and it doesn’t mean you need to stop liking it.
