Sometimes I really wish I could make myself care about sports. Like, I can’t even imagine being able to walk down pretty much any street and find a bar dedicated specifically to my fandom where I could just show my ass up and order a beer and be surrounded by people who are just as into it as I am, gathering around TVs, decked out in fandom gear, hooting and hollering and getting hella worked up…and there are entire seasons dedicated to this every year. Like, not just a few blessed rare conventions, but this is a regular fucking thing all the goddamn time. I really envy the sportsball fandoms.
