My favorite thing about Anakin Skywalker is that he is absolutely electric.

Looking at him feels a bit like touching a live wire, there’s something that sends a zing up your arm and right into your central nervous system, there’s something magnetic about his sheer presence in a room, eyes are always drawn to him, you can’t help but put your attention on him.

It’s so easy to see why Obi-Wan and Padme and Ahsoka all love him so dearly, why they’re so loyal to him even after he falls, they still love him because there’s something brilliant and addictive and amazing about who Anakin Skywalker fundamentally is.

He’s brilliant in the things he does, he’s so smart and picks up on things so quickly, so intuitively, but also he’s brilliant just to look at, there’s something like the sun in him, something that makes you feel warm and alive right along with him.

Everything he does comes from a place that makes you care about him, makes you want to help him or join him, makes you want to stay with him and love him, makes your heart feel things.  He’s funny and loyal and brave and wants so desperately to help people, he’s so talented and loves being around his favorite people so much, he just lights up when he’s with someone he cares about and you want to be one of those people.

Anakin Skywalker is a force of magnetism and my very favorite thing about him is that I can’t look at him without loving him with an intensity, that I can’t look at him without understanding just exactly what it is his loved ones see in him.
