@glumshoe described that moment when you meet another stealthy Not-Cis and how when you recognize each other you do the “furby recognition wiggle” and a while ago I legit had a run in with a fellow enby who recognized my agender flag bracelet and we spent several minutes dancing around–

“oh hey, that um, that bracelet…”

“What bracelet?”

“That one.”

“Yeah?”

“I like it.”

“Thanks”

“It’s a…you know…”

“Um no no idea what you mean”

“Kinda looks like a pride flag, one of the kinda obscure ones”

“Yeah, kinda looks like an agender one I guess”

“Yeah, that one! I like it.  Is it because, you know, you…”

“Um.  Yeah.  Sort of.  I guess.”

“Oh.  Okay.  I mean.  I’d probably wear a genderqueer one if I could, you know”

“Oh, yeah?”

And we spontaneously did this like. Fist bump/secret handshake thing in the middle of a noodle restaurant and I just want everyone to know that ‘furby recognition wiggle’ isn’t even the slightest exaggeration honestly
