You’re safe.

There’s nothing chasing you. There won’t be a face in the window. Nothing is following you up the stairs. Nothing is under your bed. You can throw your legs over your bed, you can have your arm over the side of the bed, because nothing is out to get you. I promise. I’m here to protect you. I’ll kick its ass.

You’re safe.

This just really helped me oh my God

Same. I have really bad anxiety around my house when it’s at night.

“If a society puts half its children into short skirts and warns them not to move in ways that reveal their panties, while putting the other half into jeans and overalls and encouraging them to climb trees, play ball, and participate in other vigorous outdoor games; if later, during adolescence, the children who have been wearing trousers are urged to “eat like growing boys,” while the children in skirts are warned to watch their weight and not get fat; if the half in jeans runs around in sneakers or boots, while the half in skirts totters about on spike heels, then these two groups of people will be biologically as well as socially different. Their muscles will be different, as will their reflexes, posture, arms, legs and feet, hand-eye coordination, and so on. Similarly, people who spend eight hours a day in an office working at a typewriter or a visual display terminal will be biologically different from those who work on construction jobs. There is no way to sort the biological and social components that produce these differences. We cannot sort nature from nurture when we confront group differences in societies in which people from different races, classes, and sexes do not have equal access to resources and power, and therefore live in different environments. Sex-typed generalizations, such as that men are heavier, taller, or stronger than women, obscure the diversity among women and among men and the extensive overlaps between them… Most women and men fall within the same range of heights, weights, and strengths, three variables that depend a great deal on how we have grown up and live. We all know that first-generation Americans, on average, are taller than their immigrant parents and that men who do physical labor, on average, are stronger than male college professors. But we forget to look for the obvious reasons for differences when confronted with assertions like ‘Men are stronger than women.’ We should be asking: ‘Which men?’ and ‘What do they do?’ There may be biologically based average differences between women and men, but these are interwoven with a host of social differences from which we cannot disentangle them.”

This is my favourite rat video right now.
This YouTube channel, The Furry Potato, is a project by a lovely lady
named Rosalie Maguire. Rat lovers all over the world are sending videos
for her to host here, with full credit to the original poster. When she
reaches 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours, YouTube will allow her to
monetize the channel, and all profits will be donated into rat
charities and surgery gofundmes etc.

It’s a beautiful idea, I’m
getting together all my best videos to send to her. If you’d like to
help sick rats but don’t have the resources to help out monetarily,
subscribing and watching cute videos is a super easy and rewarding way
to lend a hand.

Watch this HORRIFYINGLY CUTE video for a good cause!

I have already done so about 15 times.

HE CAN’T EVEN GET IT IN HIS MOUTH BUT HE STILL CHEWS LIKE HE DID A BIG BOY NIBBLE AND THEN HE DROPS IT AND HE DOESN’T KNOW IT AND HE KEEPS CHEWING BECAUSE HE’S TOO BABY TO KNOW THAT’S NOT HOW FOOD WORKS AND HE’S PERFECT AND DOING THE BEST JOB EVER AND EAT YOUR SPINACH SON IT’LL MAKE YOU GROW UP BIG AND STROOOOOONG!

On this, the day of lesbians, I’m thinking of the trans lesbians, the
nb lesbians, the they/them lesbians, the lesbians afraid to call
themselves lesbians for fear of being considered not lesbian enough, who
exist on the ontological borders of the term and feel displaced between
identities. This day is for you. And you deserve everything.

Tbh everyone is obsessed with this 👀

🐝 LESBI honest, every single person in the Bumbleby fandom highly expects Blake and Yang to attend a fancy dance in Atlas and dance together like they did in Volume 2.

Can you just imagine Blake and Yang giving 0 fucks about people around them judging the fact that a human is dancing with a faunus?? How important it can be for their development as partners and for Blake, in terms of self acceptance?? Yang (with the help of Ruby and Weiss) being there for Blake and distracting her as they walk in a room full of people watching?? And imagine if they frame it as a throwback to the dance arc of Volume 2, only this time it’s Blake that asks Yang to have a dance with her. Something like “Is your offer still up?” and Yang is confused for a moment until she remembers and smiles softly at Blake, allowing herself to be led in the crowd with my wild screaming in the background.

IMAGINE IS THEY DANCE TO FUCKING BMBLB I’M GONNA FUCKING CRY. Ok too much BUT IMAGINE.

That’s the general mood for Volume 6. This is gonna be THE official Bumbleby headcanon for this hiatus. Gosh i need it. Give me Volume 6 already, I need my power couple to kick some ass together and shoot a🖕at those fucks up in Atlas. 🐝
