@everyone who reads a multichapter fic and comments on each individual chapter (rather than commenting just once at the end) so the author can see you read through to individual events with changing thoughts and reactions: i would kill a man for you.

That is so good to know. I always feel like an excited little terrier yapping around the feet of all this artistic talent, but these writers make me FEEL stuff and no one has yet told me to go away, so I just keep venting. I use these fantasy worlds as a wonderful escape from real life. They really do feel real to me! Thank you all. You’re amazing! (And I am way too talkative. Sigh.)

It’s interesting how diseases rip through schools at incredible speeds despite being in an arguably modern, clean(ish) environment. I wonder if it has something to do with the whole “you need a doctor’s note to excuse your absence of even one day” combined with the average price of going to a doctor, the lack of education on things like “you’re still contagious even after the fever goes away”, and the overwhelming message of “if you don’t struggle through it, you’re a failure!”

then, there’s the anti-vaxxers who don’t vaccinate their kids

In 2019 we grow from sex positivity to sex responsibility, meaning we:

• call out shitty people who are just abusers and using kink/polyamory to mask it and stop supporting them
• recognize that sometimes hypersexuality can be a form a self-harm for some people
• keep kinks and fetishes in appropriate spaces and not bringing them out into general public spaces and thereby involving people in scenes they aren’t consenting to 
• understand that some fetishes are inherently unhealthy and some illegal to actually engage in for good reason and ignoring that is irresponsible at best

• teaching teenagers safe sex but not encouraging them to engage or seek out dangerous sexual situations or sex with a partner who doesn’t care about them in an attempt to be ‘sexually liberated’

Yall can be edgy and talk about how much you hate tumblr all you want but I will be real chief I value my undeserved clout on here and its also the only place that shoots all my niche interests directly into my brain at the speed of light

The idea behind Tumblr, namely the dashboard, how posts and reblogs work (kinda like mini-threads that stream endlessly onto your dash), and the tagging system, is actually superb and I have yet to find another social media site on par with this format. Hence why we all stay here.

But then there’s also the incompetent staff and the extreme cultural madness of the website, hence why we hate it despite staying.
