So I’ve been home for four hours and I’m dealing with hospice care for one of the rats and having to make the decision that if she doesn’t go on her own in the next few hours I’ll have to take her in to have someone help her go to rest.  Welcome home right?

one of my sister’s rats isn’t doing well. at all. we’re doing everything we can. she’s on two antibiotics and got iv fluids yesterday and getting ensure to eat trying to keep weight on her and steam sessions trying to open up her lungs and nothing is working and i’ve been awake for 24 hours i have to go to bed but i can’t make her better and i feel so helpless and i just want her to be better and she’s sliding downhill and i can’t stay up with her and just.

if anyone has any fluff fics or cute pictures or something or anything i can look at in the morning that’d be appreciated im so burnt out and i just want to be able to fix this
