Currently at the Copper Queen hotel in Bisbee AZ. Didn’t get one of the more well known haunted rooms but one that does have reported activity in it.
I don’t often bring it up because people are skeptical and I don’t blame them because I’m very skeptical too–I am relatively sensitive to hauntings/spirits. I wouldn’t come close to calling myself psychic and I don’t get emotions or voices or “see” things, it’s just a definite sense of “something is here rn”. I always feel like I can distinguish it from anxiety bc anxiety is “someone is looking at you” while when I get a sense that like. Someone is in the room with me but just doing their own thing it might be something else. And it’s happened to me in public places (the tower of london) and private places (my mom’s childhood home). Places where I’m familiar with the ghost stories don’t always trigger it, which I would take as an indication that it’s just my expectations getting to me.
Anyway with that rambling aside, we went on a wander through the hotel hallways, figuring out where the really haunted rooms are and just looking around the neat old building. I hadn’t had any sense of anything around, it was just a building with a lot of personality. But then we found a narrow little twisty back staircase on the fourth floor and started to head down. And halfway down something popped up at the top of the stairs. Couldn’t see anything but it wanted us out thanks. Pretty much gave me a good shove to the back of the head without touching me is the only way I can describe it. So that was interesting. Can’t wait to sleep tonight.
