Early morning thoughts:

Since Obi-Wan tells Padme that he saw a security holo of Anakin killing younglings, but the holo that we see him watch in the Temple is actually of Anakin killing a master (Cin Drallig) and two padawans, does that mean he sat there and watched every security holo from Operation Knightfall he could find, trying to work himself up to rationalizing killing Anakin to himself?  And they just kept getting worse and worse until he finally got to the younglings and then he was like, “no, man, I can’t watch these anymore,” and went off to find Padme?

Knowing Obi-Wan, he probably did.

And with each one he watched, part of him was secretly hoping that he’d see something to indicate that Anakin was being coerced or, like, mind-controlled somehow, or anything to give him an excuse to believe Anakin hadn’t really gone to the dark side. At least he was hoping to see something that would explain why Anakin was doing it in a way Obi-Wan could maybe understand and use as leverage to talk Anakin down when they met. And then he finally got to the younglings recording and his hopes were dashed, because there’s no way to rationalize away that one.

This post now requires exorcism.
