That’s good to know, thank you very much for sharing nonny! Losing track of my surroundings is one of my biggest fears (hyper-vigilance much….) so if it’s just falling asleep I should be okay. Thanks, I do feel better now for this!

After I was lead back to the room, they got me comfortable on the chair & they gave me a mask to breath in whatever it was that made me go to sleep. (just the mask, no needles or anything else) It took about 10 minutes or so, they just tell you to breath it in, and next thing I knew I was waking up as they were taking me somewhere to rest for a few minutes after it was done. Coming out of it, I was a little disoriented and sleepy, but that was it for me. I just dozed on the car ride back home.
Did it smell weird? Did you get woozy as it was taking effect or just fall asleep? Because I think if I start to get woozy I’ll panic and make it harder for everyone involved…
Would telling you what happened when I got my wisdom teeth done a year or 2 back help in any way? (That way you know what to expect? Everything went perfectly, fyi)
I would appreciate more knowledge of what getting sedated is like? Because I have a huge phobia of teeth (literally passed out two times when I lost my baby teeth…) so I’d rather not think about that, and it’s kinda a given that I’ll have to be at least sedated if not knocked all the way out. And the most mind altering thing I’ve ever had was a single vicodin after an injury, I don’t even drink, so the thought of any kind of drug is kinda terrifying……
