honestly everyone who’s not a trans woman should reblog this because way way too many of you are still falling for this shit.
I’ve searched far and wide, across mountains and rivers to find the absolute hottest take and here it was, from a terf, “transgenderism is inherently right wing and conservative.” The power of this completely unsubstantiated claim and the level of confidence it was delivered blew me away, I am truly humbled.
what gender critical should mean: questioning gender norms, the categorisation of genitalia, and how femininity and masculinity are perceived and represented in our world
what gender critical is on tumblr: transphobic, but like, a feminist version
terf ideology is inherently violent and they can act coy and belittling all they want but their ideology is drenched in blood and strikes fear into an entire community

As exhausting as all the blowback I’ve gotten for this (trans women are remarkable able to unify misogynists and radical feminists in their disgust of us), I’ve been really touched by how many people have reached out to say this argument has changed their mind on the subject.
I’m going to keep talking about it until it stops happening, or trans women cease being murdered for triggering male anxieties.
