I am getting second-hand embarrassment bc of Keith’s impulsiveness/stubbornness/hot-headedness so fucking badly. This is the main reason I’m pausing so often & having to brace myself. Not saying this is a bad move on the show’s part, I think it’s true to character, I just do not handle second-hand embarrassment well, at all. — ah, Keith finally realized how he was being, thank fuck.– Hunk just said omg, they’re all so fucking good, what the fuck.

Allura flirting with the Blue Lion is A+++ shit. – what the fuck what the fuck SHIRO??????? I’m literally sitting here just trying to calm myself the fuck down. Clone? looks like a mix between Shiro & Keith. Slav? nvm, au Shiro looks like Keith’s dad too. FUCK HE JUST LOOKS ODD OKAY??? AU WORLD HELL FUCKING YEAH. Dog-pile XD Allura’s weapon is a lasso!! I love Allura’s bayard so much omg that’s what I’d want for my bayard yes please.  Also SVEN AND SLAV and ALTERNATE REALITY and I’M SO GAY FOR EVIL WOMEN APPARENTLY just this entire season !!!!!!

I’ll also be honest, still a little iffy with how Shiro is. Could just be my imagination, guess we’ll see come October.

(okay should be last ask, sorry for the spam there’s just so much that happened this season) I was having this thought while I watched the episode that Shiro comes back, maybe the Galra are letting him get situated at the castle & when the timing’s right, they’ll brainwash/mind-control him. Or he’s a clone. Those are my bets.

Yeah, there’s something Not Right about Shiro.  I can’t quite put my finger on it, but something is Off.  He touches Keith with his Galra hand (when, with the exception of shaking the other three’s hands in S1e1, he’s never touched any of them with it).  His talking over Keith and undermining his leadership despite having set him up for this (regardless of the apology afterward).  And of course the outright rejection by the black lion.  All of it adds up to NOT SHIRO HISSSSSSS

Please don’t apologize, nonny, I’m firmly of the opinion that the only thing as fun as watching something yourself for the first time is getting to see/hear other people watching and enjoying it for the first time!  Your commentary was quite entertaining!

can we talk about how lance and keith were shown to have genuine respect and care for one another?

can we talk about how allura was given moments of both vulnerability and strength?

can we talk about how shiro was set up for a truly terrifying character arc, and that the seeds were planted for matt’s return?

can we talk about how lotor and his generals were given distinct personalities that made each of them interesting and terrifying in their own ways?

can we talk about how the size and scope of this universe has increased tenfold?

can we talk about how these seven episodes were perfectly paced in comparison to last season, and set up the stakes perfectly for the coming season?
