ok but you know what I love most about voltron?? it’s the constant reminder that Allura doesn’t have to be less feminine to be a badass.
She likes shiny things, she likes pastel pink, she even becomes the pink palladin hell yeah, she’s always playing around with the mice like a disney princess, she likes messing with her hair and make overs, she’s never seen without her jewellery on (which yeah it might also be for status show, but you get the idea), she likes shopping, she’s elegant and cute and pretty even when she’s clad for battle. AND at the same time she’s this powerful, smart scheming, clever, extremely strong (did you see how she pinned Ulaz to the wall that was LIT), respectful, focused, awe inspiring leader.
Allura doesn’t have to be manly to be a badass, she doesn’t have to be less “girly” or to “man up” to take her father’s place, and I freaking love that.
I love how awesome the lions look in the new trailer and what adds to the hype is we’re not entirely sure 200% who is piloting WHO in each scene. So therefore the whole team must be badass confirmed.
you know that scene in the lion king where the hyenas gang up to kill scar? i want that for season 3 but with lotor as scar and the galra lady generals as the hyenas
