I understand check out times can be frustrating. You want to sleep until 3pm, you didn’t plan ahead, your flight doesn’t leave until 9, whatever. However, and this may come as a surprise to you, you are NOT the only person in the universe. We do not choose checkout times arbitrarily, purely for the pleasure of being forced to physically oust you from the room. There is a predetermined gap between checkout and checkin so our housekeepers (who are only human) can get the rooms clean in time. I am not making this up to inconvenience you personally. No amount of bellowing “THAT’S RIDICULOUS” in my face will change this. No I will not give you a late checkout because you can yell impressively loud. Go away. Thank you.
