For as many jokes as there are about writers not writing, writers work so hard. They put their heart and soul into their work, as well as their time and energy.
I think writers literally just feel bad whenever they aren’t writing. I mean, there are many days where I will work all day and feel like I still didn’t do enough.
So stop feeling bad about what you haven’t done and start realizing what you have. Feeling bad isn’t going to help you. It will just bog you down.
hot take: movies cutting scenes that reveal a character is lgbt and then confirming it in interviews is.. not representation
hotter take: actors who fought tooth and nail to get scenes making character explicitly lgbt filmed only to have them cut are revealing these in interviews because they’re just as upset about it as you and want us to shame the studios into doing better because they know it is… not representation
I love how they always groom their whiskers after they embarrass themselves like “Nope, you didn’t see that, I was just sitting here doing rat stuff the whole time.”
